Teammates for Kids, and Garth Brooks joined forces to bring a youth golf camp to Boise, Idaho on Saturday, July 20. One-Hundred and Two area children from Boys and Girls Club of Ada County, Ronald McDonald House and 19 Community Fund were guests at the daylong camp, where they practiced their golfing skills under the direction of PGA Professional and Boise State Graduate Graham DeLaet and the coaching staff. The camp was held at the Boys and Girls Club of Ada County – Meridian Unit.

Teammates for Kids provides scholarships so all of the campers can attend for free and also presents the Good Teammate Award to those athletes who best demonstrate the traits of a TOTAL TEAMMATE - leadership, toughness, unselfishness, and respect for the game and all of its participants. In Boise, Good Teammate Awards were presented to: Rory, Team 3; Enslea, Team 5; and Gage, Team 8.

Teammates will continue to partner with Brooks to hold youth Sports Camps at every city on his Stadium Tour. Athletes in each city will volunteer their time to coach kids in football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, track & field and now golf.
