| Who's Involved
In 2003, over 350 professional baseball players pledged
their support to make a difference in the lives of children all across the country.
In Addition to these MLB players, the Teammates for Kids Foundation is comprised
of many different "teammates" all over the world.
Among these teammates are professional hockey and football players,
celebrities, corporations, other foundations, and fans.
All donations are immediately deposited into our Contributions Account, which
is managed by
Morgan Stanley. One Hundred percent (100%) of all player and matching contributions
(triple match) are restricted and designated for the specific purpose of distribution
to children's charities with a focus on health, education and inner-city services.
Specific gifts, amounts, and timing of gifts are determined by our Players
Council, National Council and Board of Directors. Additionally, PriceWaterhouseCoopers
conducts an annual audit of all Foundation financial activity.
