Teammate Alex Morgan, coming off her second-most prolific goal-scoring year with the national team as her 18 goals helped the U.S. compile an 18-0-2 record and qualify for next year's Women's World Cup, was named the U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year for the second time. She tied for fifth on the national team with three assists and led all players with 1,500 minutes played. She currently has 98 goals with the U.S women's national team and needs just two to join Abby Wambach, Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, Michelle Akers, Carli Lloyd and Tiffeny Milbrett as the only women to reach the milestone for the U.S.
